MyTatame

Support

MyTatame is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training journal by Lagartixa Labs. Set your focus before training, log your session after — by typing or by voice — and watch your own technique library grow from what you actually train.

Frequently asked questions

How do voice logs work?

After training, tap + on the Log tab and choose the voice option. Talk through your session like you'd tell a training partner — what you drilled, what worked, what questions came up. The recording is transcribed and organized by AI into a structured session: techniques, notes, and open questions. You always review the result before it's saved — nothing enters your journal without your OK. If you prefer, you can always type your log instead; the AI is optional.

Is my data private?

Yes. MyTatame has no accounts and no server that stores your data. Everything lives on your phone. Voice recordings and text are sent out only for AI processing (transcription + extraction) and the results come straight back to your device — our server keeps nothing. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Full details in our Privacy Policy.

How do I back up my data?

How do I restore my data (or move to a new iPhone)?

Go to Settings → Data → Restore Data and choose a source:

Restoring replaces your current data, so the app asks you to confirm first.

Why is my technique library empty at first?

Because that's the whole point. MyTatame isn't a catalog of someone else's 300 techniques — it's a journal of yours. Every technique in your library got there because you trained it and logged it. It starts empty and fills up session by session. If it feels small, that's not a bug: it's an honest picture of your game right now, and it grows every time you train.

How do I change the app language?

MyTatame follows your iPhone's language automatically (English, Portuguese–Brazil, or Spanish). To override it, go to Settings → Language and pick the one you want.

A voice recording got interrupted — is it lost?

Probably not. MyTatame is built to salvage recordings interrupted by phone calls, force-quits, or low memory. Go to Settings → Data → Recover Lost Recordings and the app will find any orphaned recordings and put them back in your voice log queue.

How do I report a bug or suggest a feature?

Use Settings → Send Feedback (it opens your email app with the details we need pre-filled), or email us directly at feedback@mytatame.app. Feedback in English, Portuguese, or Spanish is all welcome.
